Frequently Asked Questions
If you are hesitating, do not worry - we are here to explain everything you might want to know. Let us help!
Currently, we are set up with Shopify, GA, Recharge and Klaviyo. Our product roadmap includes Amazon, Facebook and Adwords. We do not have any platforms to integrate with any other eCommerce platforms other than Shopify for the foreseeable future.
Nautilus was built for both types of business. If you are lean and haven’t onboarded an analyst yet, our reports are simple-to-use and will help you focus on the most important and actionable customer insights. If you already have 1 or more team members focused on analytics, we can make their lives easier, not just by simplifying how they access data but also helping them to look at views they may not have previously considered.
We get it. Many other platforms offer a free trial. There are also a lot of tools out there for $30/mo. We are happy to show you a demo, but the insights from Nautilus are significant. And so if you imagine asking an analyst to do this work for free, we know there is meaningful value and IP in Nautilus. And because we are importing data into AWS, we incur costs on the first import.
Nautilus was originally co-founded by Babak Azad, former SVP of Media & Customer Acquisition at Beachbody. He spent 5 years as a 1-person consulting shop for DTC eCommerce businesses – you can see his former clients here. He was doing the same foundational and ongoing work with his clients. The difference is that while he came from an analytics background, he is a marketer/operator and so focuses on what’s actionable.
You’ll authorize access so that Nautilus can connect via API to the various platforms. You won’t need anyone on your tech team to do anything (unless they’re the ones who provide access). Once the connections are made, most stores are up and running within 48 hours. Your billing cycle will reflect when you get access, not when you begin your import.
